Sometimes life feels unbearable. You may be struggling with depression or anxiety, difficult relationships, past traumas, or low self-esteem. Perhaps you feel anxious or lost, or find yourself repeating the same patterns over and over. Or maybe you're not sure what's wrong, you just feel that something isn't quite right.

Whatever is happening for you, whether it's something that's happening now or something from the past, talking to a calm and caring counsellor can help you find relief.

In counselling, you are free to talk about whatever is happening for you in a safe environment, with someone who genuinely listens, understands and accepts you as you are. Over time, in the company of a supportive and compassionate counsellor, you can come to better understand yourself, gain insight into your life, identify your patterns, make plans for the future, and find relief from the things that are hurting you.

Hello, I'm Rob

I'm a Person Centred Therapist based in Bebington, Wirral. I offer face-to-face counselling here in Bebington or remotely online and by telephone. 

I provide a warm, safe and confidential space for you to reflect on what's happening in your life. Whether you need to talk about something that's happening now, or something from your past, I'm here to listen and help you figure out how to move forward.

Talking to a counsellor can be daunting, but it's often the first step in finding relief.

How it works

In counselling you will have the space to talk openly about the things that are troubling you. Counselling is confidential, and I will not judge you, or try to push you in a certain direction. Instead, you can go at your pace and we will find solutions together.

I work with people from a wide range of backgrounds, and have worked successfully with difficulties including:

Anxiety - Depression - Relationship Issues - Stress & Burnout Trauma - Low Self-Esteem - Guilt & Shame - Abuse - Suicidal Thoughts - Bereavement & Loss - Intimate Partner Violence

In my experience, people in counselling become more attuned to their emotional experience, gain insight into their patterns of thought and behaviour, understand their past more fully, process and move beyond painful experiences, improve their relationships, and make positive choices about how they want to live.

 

Ultimately, they find relief.

I offer in-person sessions, online video therapy and telephone therapy. You can choose whichever works better for you.

I offer all clients a free initial session, so you have a chance to get to know me before deciding whether to continue.

Counselling is all about relationships and it’s important to find someone who is the right ‘fit’ for you. The initial session is an opportunity for you to share your story, whilst also getting a sense for how counselling works and whether it's right for you.
